Current Experience

I’m currently a UX/UI designer at Affirma, a global technology consulting firm headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. Affirma offers consulting in business, technology, and digital marketing. Helping clients solve their business challenges by strategizing with modern solutions.

As a UX/UI design consultant, I work with a variety of clients in all shapes and sizes from various industries.

Clients I have worked with:

Meta (formerly Facebook)

Type of project:
Enterprise Internal Tool

What it is:
Redesign of their internal site for a specific organization within Meta. This site houses all trainings, specific project details and its current status. The redesign of the system helped reduce traffic to managers and stakeholder regarding information pertaining project details and status. Due to NDA agreements some information is altered.

Microsoft

Type of project:
Landing page

What it is:
A net new landing page for an event Microsoft hosted, DevLevelUp Show. They needed a page that has all the event details and to assist in garnering more interest for people to attend the event. Episodes (presentations) for people to watch were posted, however people will have to register in order to watch it, helping them get more attendees to join the event.

Samson Rope Technologies

Type of project:
Software as a Service

What it is:
A semi net new product that only Samson’s team and customers can access. The new product combines the Icaria Connect (customer portal) and it’s LineTracker product as one new portal without the customers having to juggle both at the same time. It features the ability for customers to be able to track their own purchased Samson product. They are able to request services such as inspection and maintenance on their ropes through the portal without having to call or email Samson’s customer service.

MacDonald-Miller

Type of project:
Enterprise Internal Tool

What it is:
A UI redesign on a part of their large internal tool. For this particular part, it was their own proprietary estimating tool for project budgets. All the current features for that tool are set and is what their employees need, however they’ve been having difficulty navigating the user interface. I helped them reimagine table layouts, search/scroll interactions, how their employees would be able to locate the data they need in keeping track of their project quotes and budget.
